I was born in Gdańsk. I always loved traveling to other cities and countries, but what I loved the most was coming back home. Thanks to those travels I discoverd, how fascinating is Gdańsk and how important this place is for the world. Amsterdam wouldn't be so beautiful without trading with Gdansk. As a child I was a witness of great Solidarity movement which begun the road to freedom for all the countries opressed by comunism. And also I'm always proud to show my guests how beautiful is rebuild city of Gdansk today, compared to the ruins just after the World War II which also started here and still exists in memory of my family. Every walk in the city is always new discovery!
good planning is a key to unforgettable trip
If you need an advice which hotel to choose, which restaurant to visit or where to go inthe evening. I'm always open to answer. Gdańsk, as growing city has always somethig new to offer. I keep an eye on whats going on around!
Not to slow, not to fast. We are going to see what is the most admirable in the city. If you wish, I can plan whole trip, but I you wish we can turn wherever you choose, because I know not only most popular places, but also those undiscovered.
Public transportation or a car? Fast railway system or a tram? Most of the important „must see” place are located around the Old Town, but what about Oliva Cathedral and gardens or Sopot molo? I'm always open to help how to get there!
„The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in
having new eyes”
Marcel Proust
